This article demonstrates how to create a new dial-up connection in Windows 98 and Windows ME.

Process 

1.    Double click on My Computer.
2.    Double click on Dial-Up Networking. 

3.    Click Make New Connection.
4.    Under Type a name for the computer you are dialing, enter ProExe Dialup.
5.    Click Next. 

6.    Enter 0845 as the Area code.
7.    Enter 0590014 in the Telephone number field.

8.    Ensure the Country code is set to United Kingdom (44).
9.    Click Next. 

10.  Click Finish.
